Today I am explaining the 10 health benefits of drinking water. Drinking Water plays a very important role in our life. Without water we can’t imagine our health. It is right that we can live without food but not without water. Our body contains 70% water and we need to fulfill this requirement of our body for a healthy life.

According to health experts it is recommended to drink daily 2-3 liters or 10-12 glasses of water. Today I will tell you, in a whole day when and how much water your should drink.

Here’s a list of reason why drinking  water is good for your health.

  1. Drink water on empty stomach

Drink 2-3 glasses of water on empty stomach daily when you wake up. It helps to clean your body.  You can also use copper jug or glass. Keep water in copper jug overnight and drink this water in morning for more health benefits.

  1. Drink one glass water before your meal

If you want to lose your weight and want to get healthy intestine then you should drink one glass water half an hour before your meal. It will help you to eat less than your appetite and also your intestine will work properly.

  1. Don’t drink water just before & after your meal

You can drink water after 1 hour of your meal. If you drink water right just before and after your meal, food does not digest easily and you may suffer from many digestion problems.

  1. Substitute of water during meal

Sometimes if you feel thirsty during your meal time, please do not drink water. You can take yogurt or some yogurt based drink. It will not only increase the taste of your food but also helps to digest food easily.

  1. When you feel hungry

Whenever you feel hungry firstly always try to drink water and wait for 10 minutes but still you feel hungry then you can take some snacks. If you try this then you can save yourself from eating snacks at wrong time.

  1. When you feel fatigue

Our body contains 70% of water. If you drink water on feeling fatigue then your mind will work effectively and your concentration will also increase.

  1. Before taking bath

Drinking water before your bath helps you to reduce blood pressure. But if you are going to take shower with hot water then do not drink cold water.

  1. Before and after exercise

It is very good if you drink water before going to exercise. It will provide energy to your muscles and also you will not feel tired. If you do not drink water then you will feel more tired after some time.

  1. Drink more water during pregnancy & sickness

If you are suffering from any illness, you should drink more water as compared to other days because it will repair your body faster. Also it is advised to pregnant ladies to drink more water.

  1. Do not drink water in standing position

If you drink water in standing position then after some years it may cause joint pains in your body.
